As a corporate traveler attending a vital retreat, the Bastion Hotel proved to be a mixed experience. The comfortable and clean room, complete with a coffee maker, offered a cozy space that facilitated staying on top of work emails and reports, although the Wi-Fi connection was a bit inconsistent. The hotel's large conference center, with luxurious amenities, provided an ideal setting for our team meetings, ensuring a productive and focused environment.The free airport shuttle was a convenient perk, but a slight hiccup occurred during my departure. Despite informing the reception in advance and reconfirming the taxi service, delays resulted in a missed train and an important meeting with a client in Almelo.While the Moroccan lady at the reception and the attentive restaurant server were highlights of exceptional customer service, attention to detail in coordinating transportation for guests needs improvement to truly cater to business travelers' hectic schedules.
